Chamaecyparis pisifera filifera 'King's Gold'

King’s Gold is a specially developed strain, or form, of the standard Gold Mop Cypress which has shown itself to be much more compact & spreading in growth habit than Gold Mop, or Gold Thread Cypress. Also looks to hold its brilliant golden yellow color very well in the heat & humidity of the south & southeastern U.S. Has very nicely colored thread like foliage, and a compact, spreading, mounding type growth habit. Makes an excellent foreground or accent planting, and provides a beautiful color contrast when planted against darker green foundation plantings.
