A compact evergreen with a pyramidal habit. Dense, deep green foliage makes a great screen or windbreak. Produces bluish-white cones. Tolerant of deer, drought, erosion, dry soil, shallow-rocky soil, black walnuts, and air pollution. The most drought tolerant of all native conifers to the eastern United States.
