This is a larger sized evergreen azalea. Produces an abundance of lavender purple colored 2-3″ blooms in early spring and then possibly again in the fall. Has a vigorous more upright growth habit than other azaleas. New growth tends to be light green then fading to darker green with age. Great for use as a colorful accent, borders, and flowering hedges.
