Hosta ‘Royal Standard’ was the first hosta to receive a plant patent in 1965. Forms a large mound of shiny green leaves that are slightly wavy. Sun tolerant hosta that is stunning in a mass planting. Delightfully fragrant flowers are pure white in late summer.

Pruning time: divide every 2 to 3 years in early spring.
